I love it when all of the elements of a photo session come together. Last week I had one of those sessions. The weather was beautiful, and the skies offered just the kind of light that I love. The family was fun and photogenic, and there was a special connection between the child and the father that was easy to spot - and easy to capture with the camera.
In particular, I just love the image on the left. The father/son connection is so apparent, and even little details, like the leftover rainfall from the previous night, are visible.
This session was taken in Cullman Park in the Ballantyne area of South Charlotte, one of my favorite parks for family portrait sessions. The park is always beautiful no matter the season.
