These beautiful children and teenagers are cousins that gathered together in Charlotte with their families for Christmas. We took group shots in addition to sibling and individual portraits. This was the day after Christmas, and the ground was covered in snow, so we took the shots inside. I primarily used window light for the individual portraits, a Speedlight flash for the group shots, and a combination for the siblings poses. The dining room window made for beautiful, soft white light (perhaps the snow helped reflect the light) and the staircase in the foyer made for a nice background.
I thoroughly enjoyed this shoot!
