Birdies and Bagpipes Golf Tournament

I photographed the Birdies and Bagpipes Golf Tournament at the Ballantyne Resort on Friday. Proceeds from the tournament went to the Alpha 1 Village Foundation, which "exists to support and increase awareness for individuals afflicted with Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency."

The event was beautifully organized by both the foundation and the staff at the Ballantyne Resort. In addition to the tournament, there was Irish-themed entertainment (bagpipes and Irish dancers), an outdoor buffet dinner, and prizes. The weather was beautiful, with forecasted rain holding off until the event was winding down. Such fun!
